At the first glance, the stencil on top might be a bit difficult to see. Go a bit further away from the screen and you will see it. It's really good work!

I think that these ones are from Quasikunst.


The gollum could be from PiRho, but I am not totally sure.


I think that these ones are from the artists from ASA, the Altona Stencil Artists, the German branch of the WCA. I love and admire their technique !

Artiste ouvrier & Quasikunst in Hamburg

When we were walking around in Hamburg in Altona, we passed at a garage and I couldn't believe my eyes! Artiste ouvrier, one of my favourite stencil artists had left a stencil collage there together with another artist called quasikunst. I think it was like an advertising for an exhibition in Altona. Unfortunately, it only started the next day and we were leaving and couldn't make it.... As you can see, some stencils where already covered by graffiti tags, it was a shame. Unfortunately, the first stencil was covered quite a lot with graffiti but I found it later as a cut-out not too far away from the original.

These are some splendid works from the guys from the WCA free university of stencil art. Among the members are artiste-ouvrier, is bach, Doctor H, Marybel (all from France) and Doppelstern from Austria.

Artiste-Ouvrier stencils in Hamburg

The stencil artists artiste-ouvrier had an exhibition of their works in Hamburg at the Nanometer Gallery in November 2006. Unfortunately, it was already over when I was in Hamburg later but at least they had left some really nice stencils outside the gallery. One seems to be a copy of the "Saint George" (see painting).

This is the last part of the stencils from the WCA crew artiste-ouvier, is bach and 6lex. I think it is just brilliant.
